Frequently Asked Questions
Is the HYD-6K-H6 a hybrid inverter?
Yes. It supports integration of solar panels, compatible batteries and utility power in an appropriately configured installation.
Can it run an air conditioner, refrigerator and other home appliances?
Suitable appliances may be connected within the inverter's running and starting-load limits. Have an installer assess total consumption, motor starting demand and peak-output duration; a 6kW rating does not guarantee every appliance combination will work.
Can it provide backup during load shedding?
Battery-backed operation depends on the system configuration, available battery energy and load demand. Backup duration and transfer performance should be checked for the intended appliances; uninterrupted power is not guaranteed.
Does it support net metering?
Grid interaction alone does not establish net-metering eligibility. Confirm the exact model's required approvals, certifications and current utility requirements before planning grid export.
Which batteries are suitable?
Use manufacturer-approved lead-acid or lithium-ion systems within the supplied 40–60V range. Confirm charging settings, battery current limits and BMS compatibility before connection.
Installation and Verification
Installation and commissioning require a qualified solar professional. Verify the exact manufacturer datasheet before finalising PV strings, voltage limits, input-current limits, battery sizing, protection and earthing. Optional temperature sensors are not assumed to be included.
